Regular Council in Committee

THAT: Council award the contract for the installation of hydrants at dead-end watermains, Contract No. PW.03HYIN, at the modified tendered amount of $61,265.02, including g.s.t. from V. Gibbons Contracting Ltd. of Stevensville, Ontario, and further THAT: Staff be authorized to prepare the necessary by-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute the contract on behalf of the Town of Fort Erie. (

THAT: Council authorize the Town of Fort Erie to participate in the “Communities-in-Bloom” Program for 2004, and further THAT: Council adopt as a guideline the Terms of Reference for the Communities-in-Bloom Committee, attached as Appendix “1” to Administrative Report No. PCS-107-2003, and further THAT: Council authorize staff to prepare a by-law to replace the Beautification Committee with the Communities-in-Bloom Committee. (

THAT: Report No. CS-108-2003 regarding the update on by-law enforcement services be received for information purposes only. (

THAT: Recommendation No. 4 be

THAT: The request received from Bill Walker for a variance from Sign By-law No. 42-99 to permit the construction of a 4’ x 8’ billboard sign at 999 Buffalo Road be denied. (
