THAT:Report No. CDS-38-11, regarding Zoning By-law Amendment for 984307 Ontario Limited, be received for information purposes, and further THAT:A report on the Zoning By-law Amendment be presented to a future Council-in-Committee Meeting with the recommendations subsequent to the Public Meeting. (

THAT:Council hereby supports the extension of Draft Plan Approval for the Spears Road Estates Draft Plan of Subdivision to August 11, 2013, and further THAT:The owner and the Development Services Division, Regional Public Works Department be so advised. (

THAT:Conditions of Draft Plan Approval for the Deerwood Lane Draft Plan of Subdivision be amended as detailed in Appendix 2 in Report No. CDS-40-11, and further THAT:The amended Conditions of Draft Plan Approval be circulated to the applicable agencies in accordance with the requirements of the Planning Act. (

THAT:Council hereby receives Report No. CDS-41-11 for information purposes, and further THAT:A Public Meeting be scheduled in accordance with the requirements of the Planning Act to consider the proposed zoning amendment for lands owned by Canadian Tire Real Estate Limited at 240 Garrison Road. (

THAT:Report No. CDS-42-11 be received for information purposes only. (

THAT:Report No. CDS-43-11 dated August 8, 2011, with reference to the Memorandum of Understanding for Fire Investigations be received and that the Fire Chief be authorized to execute the document. (

THAT:The recommendation be

THAT:Council hereby authorizes a service contract to be entered into with the City of Niagara Falls (Niagara Transit) for an eight month period, effective as per Appendix "A", for the provision of the Intermunicipal Transit Service. (

THAT:Council hereby confirms the Town's commitment and on-going support to the Joint Region/Town Infrastructure Initiative

THAT:Council hereby awards the low tender for the Garrison Road Sanitary Sewer Replacement - Contract No. IS.10GRSS in the amount of $5,570,596.31 (including h.s.t.) to V. Gibbons Contracting Ltd. of Stevensville, Ontario, and further THAT:Staff be authorized to prepare a by-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to finance project GRSH08 - Garrison Road Sanitary Sewer with debentures of $2,930,000 for a term not to exceed 20 years. (

THAT:Council pass a resolution requesting the Fort Erie Figure Skating Club to submit a formal Business Plan to the Town of Fort Erie on or before September 12, 2011, and further THAT:Staff be directed to release the Fort Erie Figure Skating Club's September ice rental agreement. (

THAT:Council hereby receives Report No. CS-29-11 for information purposes. (

THAT:The Municipal Council of the Town of Fort Erie hereby supports the issuance of a temporary extension application for a liquor licence for 3 West Sports Bar & Grill, 1884 Garrison Road in order to accommodate their Labour Day Weekend Celebration on September 2-5, 2011, provided 3 West Sports Bar & Grill complies with all relevant municipal by-laws and Provincial legislation and regulations, and further THAT:The appropriate agencies be so notified of this event. (

THAT:Council does now go into closed session at 7:53 p.m. to discuss the following: (a) Property Matter (Pursuant to Section 239(2)(c) of Municipal Act, 2001 – A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality) Re: Proposed Acquisition of Property for New Fire Station No. 2 (Confidential Report No. CDS-45-11). (

THAT:Council does now rise and reconvene into open session at 8:13 p.m. with the following report: THAT:Staff be instructed to proceed in accordance with the recommendations contained in Confidential Report No. CDS-45-11. (
