THAT: Council hereby receives Report No. CBS-06-10 regarding the Analysis of 2009 Assessment for 2010 Taxation Year for information purposes only. (

THAT: Each recommendation be dealt with separately beginning with the grant allocations, under Recommendation #3, followed by the 1812 Committee budget under Recommendation #4 and then, Recommendations #1, #2 and #5. (

THAT: The grant allocation to Community Policing in the amount of $6,600 be approved. (

THAT: The recommendation be amended to change the dollar amount to $12,000 to be divided between the three groups. (

THAT: The grant allocation for the Downtown Watering Program in the amount of $12,000 to be divided between the three groups be approved. (

THAT: A grant allocation to the Lions Seniors Complex in the amount of $14,390 be approved. (

THAT: The grant allocation to the Beachcombers Seniors Complex in the amount of $10,000 be approved. (

THAT: A grant allocation to the Fort Erie Horticultural Society in the amount of $1,000 be approved. (

THAT: A grant allocation for Facility Fee Grants in the amount of $8,000 be approved. (

THAT: The dollar amount be reduced to $7,500. (

THAT: A grant allocation for Community Events in the amount of $15,000 be approved. (

THAT: The recommendation be amended to provide for a grant of $50,000 in 2010 and $50,000 in 2011 and that these funds be directed to a specific capital project account and not be placed in the reserve fund. (

THAT: The grant allocation to the Fort Erie Museum Board Reserve in the amount of $50,000 in 2010 and $50,000 in 2011 and that these funds be directed to a specific capital project account and not be placed in the reserve fund be approved. (

THAT: The dollar amount be reduced to $35,000. (

THAT: The grant allocation to the EDTC Reserve in the amount of $35,000 be approved. (

THAT: A grant allocation to the Fort Erie Legion Band in the amount of $4,000 be approved. (

THAT: The 1812 Committee budget of $20,000 be approved. (

THAT: The 2010 Operating Budget representing a general levy of $17,372,245 (inclusive of the allocations below) as provided in Appendix "B" be approved and forwarded to Council for adoption by by-law on March 29, 2010. (

THAT: The 2010 Budget for gaming revenues be established at $1,708,000 and allocated as per 2010 Allocation-Amended of Appendix "C. (

THAT: The 2010 General Levy Budget exclude capital asset amortization of $5,564,632. (

THAT: The Council-in-Budget Committee Meeting does now hereby adjourn at 8:52 p.m. (
