Regular Council in Committee

THAT:Report No. CDS-22-11 regarding Zoning By-law Amendment for Angus and Christina Butler be received for information purposes, and further THAT:A report on the Zoning By-law Amendment be presented to a future Council-in-Committee Meeting with the recommendations subsequent to the Public Meeting. (

THAT:The recommendation be amended by adding the following: “and further, THAT:The site specific zoning respective to the gas bar be considered accessory to the current commercial enterprise only.” (

THAT:Council hereby receives Report No. CDS-23-11 for information purposes, and further THAT:Council hereby approves the Gateway Secondary Plan on May 9, 2011, through third and final reading of By-law Nos. 18-11, 19-11 and 20-11 as modified by this report, and further THAT:The site specific zoning respective to the gas bar be considered accessory to the current commercial enterprise only. (

THAT:Council hereby receives Report No. CDS-24-11 for information purposes and endorses the ongoing priorities for Development Approvals Division of the Community and Development Services Department. (

THAT:Council hereby supports the extension of the Draft Plan Approval for the Crystal Ridge Landing Draft Plan of Subdivision to May 11, 2012, and further THAT:The Owner and the Development Service Division of the Regional Niagara Public Works Department be so advised. (

THAT:The recommendation be amended to include “and further, THAT:Council support the completion of a database for artifact cataloguing records at Museum Services and that the Mayor meet with M.P.P. Kim Craitor to request Provincial financial assistance towards this project.” (

THAT:Council hereby receives Report No. CDS-26-11 for information purposes and endorses the ongoing priorities for Museum Services, and further THAT:Council support the completion of a database for artifact cataloguing records at Museum Services and that the Mayor meet with M.P.P. Kim Craitor to request Provincial financial assistance towards this project. (

THAT:Report No. CDS-27-11 regarding the replacement of the dwelling at 2759 Bowen Road be approved, and further THAT:An agreement to permit the proposed development to occur be presented to Council subject to satisfying the conditions outlined in Report No. CDS-27-11. (

THAT:The Town Solicitor come back to Council and provide an upset limit of what the legal defense will cost for the Bay Beach Statement of Claim. (

THAT:Pursuant to Section 16.9 of Procedural By-law No. 145-06, as amended, consent is hereby granted to consider an Infrastructure Services matter at this meeting due to urgent circumstances. (

THAT:Council hereby accepts the proposal for the operation of the Crystal Beach Food Concession Services - Contract No. ISF.02-2011 as submitted by Mohammed and Karim Larbi Ltd., and further THAT:Staff be directed to prepare the necessary by-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute the contract on behalf of the Town of Fort Erie. (

THAT:The Municipal Council of the Town of Fort Erie hereby adjourns at 8:05 p.m. (
