That: Recommendation No. 1 be amended by inserting “as amended” after “Appendix “2”” to reflect the change to the Wayfinding signage and Gateway Feature Budget amounts. (

That: the Highland Avenue Reconstruction item be removed from Appendix “2” and considered separately. Committee approved the amendment with unanimous consent. Following the approval of the amendments, Recommendation No. 1 was voted on as amended as follows: That: Council approves the 2017 Preliminary Capital Budget of $2,137,000 as per Appendix "1" to Report No. CBC-01-2017 and directs staff to submit the by-law for Council approval on December 5, 2016, and further That: Council defers approval of the balance of the 2017 Capital Budget of $14,107,640 as per Appendix "2", as amended, save and except the Highland Avenue Reconstruction item, to Report No. CBC-01-2017 to February 27, 2017 with the consideration of the 2017 General Levy Budget By-law, and further That: Council approves the exclusion of amortization from the 2017 Operating Budget as required by Ontario Regulation 284/09. (
