5. Correspondence The Committee reviewed D. Fairlie’s email regarding the SCAC Review of Motions and Decisions. 6. Chair's Report The Committee discussed four options regarding complimentary tickets and considered the Sub-Committee’s recommendation as follows: Recommendation: That the Event Lead and approved volunteers working at a specific event sponsored by the Town of Fort Erie Senior Citizens Advisory Committee (SCAC) receive complimentary tickets for that event only. Alternatives: Other approaches considered include the following: Provide no complimentary tickets to any SCAC members for SCAC events. Provide a complimentary ticket only to the Event Lead responsible for organizing the specific event, with no tickets provided to other SCAC members. Maintain the status quo – all SCAC members may receive a complimentary ticket, with the option for those who wish to pay for a ticket to do so. Outcome: Following a vote, the Committee adopted the Sub-Committee’s recommendation. The Committee agreed to include a section on the event checklist identifying the individuals selected to volunteer. 7. Treasurer's Report Expenditures for August totaled $936.52, resulting in a remaining budget balance of $20,513.99. 8. Council Representative Report N/A 9. Sub-Committee Reports 9.1 Country Dance/Luncheon Update - August 12, 2025 A total of 99 tickets were sold. 87 attendees were present.
