THAT: Council-in-Committee does now go into closed session at 5:03 p.m. to discuss the following: CLOSED SESSION- SPECIAL COUNCIL-IN-COMMITTEE MINUTES MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2014 PAGE THREE (a) Legal Matter (Pursuant to Section 239(2)(e) of Municipal Act, 2001, as amended – Litigation or potential litigration, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board, and Section 239(2)(f) – Advice that is subject to solicitor- client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose) Re: Execution of a Litigation Agreement Respecting Six Inter-Related Proceedings at the Ontario Municipal Board and in the Divisional Court, Relating to Land Use Planning and Growth Management Matters in the Region of Niagara and Town of Fort Erie (b) Property and Legal Matter (Pursuant to Section 239(2)(c) of Municipal Act, 2001, as amended – A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board and Section 239(2)(f) – Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose) Re: Proposed Agreement of Purchase and Sale for purchase of vacant lands for industrial development purposes (

THAT: Council-in-Committee does now rise and reconvene into open session at 6:00 p.m. with report. (

(a) THAT: In the matter of the property and legal matter concerning the proposed Agreement of Purchase and Sale for the purchase of vacant lands for industrial development purposes, that staff be directed to act in accordance with the instructions of Council.
