THAT: Council hereby supports in principle the rezoning of property at 240 Garrison Road (Canadian Tire Real Estate Limited) from General Commercial C2 Zone to Core Mixed-Use Site Specific Zone, and further THAT: A Zoning By-law Amendment be presented to Council for approval. (

THAT: The application by Angus and Christina Butler to amend Zoning By-law No. 129-90 from the Rural RU Zone to a Site Specific Rural RU Zone to recognize a reduced lot frontage and lot area for Parts 1 and 2 and a reduced lot frontage for Part 3 be approved, and further THAT: A Zoning By-law Amendment for the lands located at 2434 Dominion Road be submitted to Council for approval. (

THAT: The definition of “community centre” identified as Amendment No. 6 under Appendix “2” to Report No. CDS-48-11 be deleted therefrom. (

THAT: The word “land” in the first line of the definition of “community centre” identified as Amendment No. 6 under Appendix “2” to Report No. CDS-48-11 be removed therefrom. (

THAT: Report No. CDS-48-11 regarding Housekeeping Amendment to Zoning By-law No. 129-90, be approved as amended, and further THAT: A Zoning By-law be submitted to Council. (

THAT: Conditions of Draft Plan Approval for the Deerwood Lane Draft Plan of Subdivision be amended as detailed in Appendix "2" to Report No. CDS-49-11, COUNCIL-IN-COMMITTEE MINUTES - TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2011 PAGE SEVEN as corrected to read under Item 52 – “The developer must enter into a subdivision agreement with the Municipality by January 31, 2012 …“, and further THAT: The amended conditions of Draft Plan Approval be circulated to the applicable agencies in accordance with the requirements of The Planning Act. (

THAT: Pursuant to Section 16.9 of Procedural By-law No. 145-06, as amended, consent is hereby granted to consider Corporate Services matters at this meeting due to extra- ordinary circumstances. (

THAT: The transfer from the Town of Fort Erie to Jack and Susan K. Treger to correct the title to Part of Lot 18, Plan 424, municipally known as 874 Edgemere Road, be authorized and approved, and further THAT: The Town Solicitor be authorized to prepare a by-law authorizing the Transfer and to execute all necessary documentation to complete the transaction, and further THAT: The Town Solicitor be directed to prepare and register the Transfer at the Town's expense, following passage of the by-law. (

THAT: The Municipal Council of the Town of Fort Erie hereby authorizes Councillor Steckley to attend the 2011 Communities in Bloom Symposium and Awards Ceremony on October 27-30, 2011 in Quebec City, Quebec at an approximate cost of $1,000.00 to be derived from the Mayor and Council Sundry Account. (
