THAT: Report No. CDS-67-08 regarding Zoning By-law Amendment located at 2650 Sider Road be received for information purposes, and further THAT: A report on the Zoning By-law Amendment be presented to a future Council-in-Committee meeting with the recommendations subsequent to the Public Meeting. (

THAT: Council continue to support the Grow South philosophy, particularly with respect to employment lands, and further COUNCIL-IN-COMMITTEE MINUTES – TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2008 PAGE FIVE THAT: The Region of Niagara be advised that support of "Option B'" in general must be complemented by a clear policy that: upholds intensification targets, and; restricts major capital infrastructure investment that accommodates growth in northern municipalities which undermines the Grow South philosophy, and; provides a funding strategy that encourages and supports funding and partnership initiatives that facilitate the development of employment lands within the Gateway Economic Zone, and further THAT: The Region and consultant carefully consider whether the growth projections in "Option B" are attainable and sustainable as compared with "Option C". (

THAT: The amount of $9,000 be transferred from the Museum Capital Fund for the purchase of two paintings of the Battle of Ridgeway/Fenian Raids produced in 1866. (

THAT: Council-in-Committee does now hereby adjourn at 6:50 p.m. (
