Regular Council in Committee

THAT:The recommendations contained in Report Nos. CDS-87-12, CDS-88-12, CDS-89-12, CDS-90-12, CDS-91-12, CDS-92-12 and CDS-93-12 be and they are hereby approved. (

THAT:Report No. CDS-81-12 regarding proposed Official Plan Amendment No. 8, being the Spears-High Pointe Secondary Plan, be received for information purposes, and further THAT:A staff recommendation report on Proposed Official Plan Amendment No. 8 be presented at a future Council-in-Committee Meeting having considered all sources of informal and formal comments by stakeholders, agencies and the general public. (

THAT:Report No. CDS-82-12 regarding the Zoning By-law Amendment for the Washington Road lots located on the north side of Washington Road, west of Helena Street be received for information purposes, and further THAT:A report on the zoning by-law amendment be presented to a future Council-in-Committee Meeting with the recommendations subsequent to the Public Meeting. (

THAT:Council hereby receives this report for information purposes, and further THAT:A copy of Report No. CDS-83-12 be forwarded to the Region of Niagara for information purposes. (

THAT:Council hereby receives this report for information purposes, and further THAT:A copy of Report No. CDS-84-12 be forwarded to the Region of Niagara for information purposes. (

THAT:Council hereby authorizes the Fire Chief to prepare the terms of reference to update the Fire Department Master Plan, and further COUNCIL-IN-COMMITTEE MINUTES – MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2012 PAGE FIFTEEN THAT:Council hereby authorizes the Fire Chief to form a committee comprised of senior fire officers, and municipal managers/directors to work on the development of the Fire Department Master Plan on a go forward basis. (

THAT:Council hereby endorses the comments contained in Report No. CDS- 94-12 and a copy of this report be forwarded to the Province for consideration in their review, and further THAT:A copy of Report No. CDS-94-12 be forwarded to the Region of Niagara Integrated Community Planning (ICP), Fort Erie Economic Development and Tourism Corporation, Environmental Advisory Committee and Active Transportation Committee for information purposes. (

THAT:The Municipal Council of the Town of Fort Erie hereby opposes the location of a cellular communications tower in the Town of Fort Erie at 2594 Dominion Road, Ridgeway, Ontario, and further THAT:The Federal Government be so notified of this action. (

THAT:Council-in-Committee does now hereby adjourn at 7:42 p.m. (
