Regular Council-in-Budget Committee

That: Council approves the user fees and charges proposed in Appendix “1” to Report No. CBC-02-2018, exclusive of building permit fees, and directs staff to submit a by-law to Council, and further That: Council authorizes staff to prepare a by-law to adjust building fees following a Public Meeting in accordance with the Ontario Building Code Act. (

That: Council approves the 2018 Water and Wastewater Operating Budget inclusive of the Supplementary Budget attached as Appendix “1”, and further That: Council revises the 2018 Water and Wastewater Base and Consumption rates, subject to Regional Council approval of forecasted treatment rates, effective with billing for January 2018 consumption as follows: • 2018 water base rate per month: $25.27 • 2018 water rate per cubic metre: $1.460 • 2018 wastewater base rate per month: $41.06 • 2018 wastewater rate per cubic metre: $1.600, and further That: Council excludes the capital asset amortization of $1,558,000 from the 2018 Water and Wastewater Operating Budgets, and further That: Council directs staff to submit the 2018 Water and Wastewater Operating Budget and Rates By-law for Council approval on January 22, 2018.
