That: Under Section 5.0 Prohibitions, Subsection 5.1 of Schedule "13" to Business Licensing By-law No. 217-05, as amended, which currently reads: "No Owner shall: (k) Operate contrary to any applicable Federal or Provincial Law or Regulations or Municipal By-laws” be amended to read: "(k) Operate contrary to any applicable Federal, Provincial, Regional laws, Regulations or Orders, or Municipal By-laws (“Law”)", and add: Page 5 of 8 Council-in-Committee - 19 Apr 2021 Meeting Minutes "(l) Rent to an individual where a Law

That: Council approves the Application for the Niagara Gateway Economic Zone and Centre Community Improvement Plan Program for the property known municipally as 1481 Commerce Parkway in the Town of Fort Erie for the Tax Increment Grant Based Program in the estimated amount of $8,577,349 subject to the Owner satisfying the program requirements, and further That: The Region of Niagara be advised of the decision of Council, and further That: Council directs staff to prepare the required by-law(s), and further That: Council authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to execute any documentation required to satisfy the conditions related to participation in the Tax Increment Based Grant Program. (

That: Council receives Report No. EDTS-02-2021 regarding the Short-Term Rentals Appeals Process, for information purposes, and further That: Council approves the housekeeping amendments to Schedule “13” identified in Report No. EDTS-02-2021 regarding the assignment of demerit appoints associated with operating without a licence, and the definition of “Person” in Administrative Penalty By-law No. 111-119. (
