Closed Special Council in Committee

THAT: Council-in-Committee does now go into closed session at 5:17 p.m. to discuss the following: (a) Human Resource Matters (Pursuant to Section 239(2)(d) of Municipal Act, 2001, as amended – Labour relations or employee negotiations) Re: Memorandum of Agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees and its Local #714 Re: Management, Supervisory and Exempt Employees Salary Administration Plan (

THAT:Council accept and ratify the Memorandum of Agreement with CUPE Local #714 and that Council rise and report accordingly. (

THAT:Non-Union staff receive the same salary percentage increase as the Union and for the same term, being 2014, 2015 and 2016 and that Council rise and report accordingly. (

THAT: Council-in-Committee does now rise from closed session and reconvene into open session at 5:37 p.m. with report as follows: THAT:By-law No. 34-2014 be considered in open session to ratify the Memorandum of Agreement with CUPE Local #714 to amend and extend the current Collective Agreement, and further THAT:By-law No. 35-2014 be considered in open session to adopt a Management, Supervisory and Exempt Employee Salary Administration Plan. (

THAT:The Special Meeting of Council-in-Committee does hereby adjourn at 5:39 p.m. (
