THAT: The delegation’s time be extended beyond the ten (10) minute limit. (

THAT: The proposal received from Lampard, Ellis & Walsh for the provision of legal services be accepted and a by-law be submitted to Council to authorize the entry into an agreement with Lampard, Ellis & Walsh to act as general legal counsel for the Town, and further, THAT: The proposal received from Sullivan Mahoney for the provision of legal services be accepted and a by-law be submitted to Council to authorize the entry into an agreement with Sullivan Mahoney for the provision of specialized legal services, including but not limited to labour and employment matters, planning matters, insurance matters, property matters and municipal tax sale matters. (

THAT: A by-law be submitted to Council authorizing the acceptance of the proposal from Computer Associates (CA+) in the amount of $52,814. for the replacement of the Town’s Financial Software. (

THAT: Report No. IS-38-05 regarding the Sewer and Drainage Issues Related to the June 10, 2005 Storm Event, dated October 17, 2005, be received, and further THAT: Council direct staff to develop a Town financial assistance program for the installation of sanitary sewer lateral back-flow prevention valves and report back to Council for comment and approval of same, and further THAT: Council direct staff to conduct a “Sewer and Drainage – Public Information Centre” in order to both educate and solicit input from the residents and property owners of the Town of Fort Erie. (

THAT: The application to amend the zoning by-law for Part 1 of the subject lands to a “Site Specific Rural (RU) Zone” to recognize the reduced lot area and frontage of Parcel 1 and the reduced lot area of Parcel 2 and that a “Site Specific Hazard H Zone” be applied to the area that is a Provincially Significant Wetland be approved, and further THAT: The attached draft zoning by-law amendment be presented to Council for adoption. (

THAT: The Terms of Reference for the Community Health and Wellness Advisory Committee contained in Report No. CDS-129-05 be adopted by Council. (

THAT: The “Family Medicine Student and Resident Assistance Program” contained in Report No. CDS-130-05 be adopted, and further THAT: The draft agreement attached as Appendix “1” to Report No. CDS-130- 05 be used as the template for agreements with medical students and/or residents. (

THAT: A by-law be submitted to Council authorizing an agreement to permit up to three model homes in the River Trail Estates Draft Plan of Subdivision. (

THAT: The recommendations be dealt with separately. (

THAT: The second recommendation be amended by deleting same and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “THAT:The disbursement of the Unexpended Capital Funds for the Adventures in Archaeology Project be

THAT: The Adventures in Archaeology Unexpended Capital Project be closed and the unexpended surplus of $195,000 be allocated as follows: $16,000 be transferred to the Museum Services Operating Budget to address the shortfall in revenue resulting from the reallocation of gaming revenue to programs. (

THAT: The disbursement of the Unexpended Capital Funds for the Adventures in Archaeology Project be
