THAT: Council receive Report No. IS-01-07 for information purposes regarding the potential transfer of provision of paratransit service within the Town of Fort Erie from Fort Erie Mobile Service to Red Cross Niagara, and further THAT: Council hereby authorizes staff to enter into negotiations with Red Cross Niagara for the contracted provision of paratransit service within the Town of Fort Erie. (

THAT: Council hereby approves the tender submitted by Omni Facility Services Canada Corporation of London, Ontario for Janitorial Services for the Town Hall, Leisureplex and Gibson Centre - Contract #ISF-04-2006, in the amount of $60,930.85, 1st year and $62,149.47, 2nd year (excluding g.s.t.), and further THAT: Staff be directed to prepare the necessary by-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute the contract with Omni Facility Services Canada Corporation on behalf of the Town of Fort Erie. (

THAT: Council hereby awards the tender for the Thunder Bay Road Bridge Rehabilitation to Structure S068B - Contract #IS-06TBBR, at the tendered amount of $48,147.85, including g.s.t. to Rankin Construction Inc., of St. Catharines, Ontario, and further THAT: Staff be authorized to prepare the necessary by-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute the contract on behalf of the Town of Fort Erie. (

THAT: Council hereby receives Report No. IS-06-07, regarding the Facility Condition Assessment Study (November 14, 2006) for information purposes only. (

THAT: Council hereby receives Report No. CS-01-07 regarding the Statement of Remuneration and Expenses to Mayor and Council for information purposes only, and further THAT: A by-law be submitted to the January 29, 2007 Council meeting confirming one- third of Council remuneration to be deemed expenses incidental to their duties as Members of Council. (

THAT: A by-law in the form of Schedule "A" to Report No. CS-02-07 be forwarded for approval at the January 29, 2007 Regular Council Meeting authorizing temporary borrowing from the Toronto Dominion Bank. (

THAT: Council hereby receives Report No. CS-03-07 regarding Fidelity Bond Coverage for information purposes only. (

THAT: Council hereby receives Report No. CS-04-07 regarding the Development Charge Reserve Fund Status for information purposes only. (

THAT: Council hereby receives Report No. CS-05-07 regarding the Tax Arrears Status Report for information purposes only. (

THAT: Council hereby receives Report No. CS-06-07 regarding the Analysis of 2006 Assessment for 2007 Taxation Year for information purposes only. (

THAT: Council hereby approves the use of $23,000 from the Emergency Management Reserve to fund upgrades to the Emergency Operations Centre (Committee Room 1) as detailed in the 2006 JEPP application. (

THAT: $15,000 be transferred from the Mapping Reserve Fund to purchase Aerial Photography from the Region of Niagara in accordance with By-law No. 192-96. (

THAT: Council-in-Committee does now hereby adjourn at 7:07 p.m. (
