Regular Council in Committee

THAT:The recommendations contained in Report Nos. CDS-68-2013, CDS-69-2013, CDS-71-2013. CDS-72-2013, CDS-73-2013, IS-21-2013, IS-22-2103, IS-23-2013, IS-24- 2013, IS-26-2013, CS-17-2013, CS-18-2013 and CS-19-2013 be and they are hereby approved. (

THAT:This report be received for information purposes, and a report on the combined Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments be presented to a future Council-in-Committee Meeting with the recommendations subsequent to the Public Meeting. (

THAT:This report be received for information purposes, and a report on the Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Vacant Land Condominium be presented to a future Council-in-Committee Meeting with the recommendations subsequent to the Public Meeting. (

THAT:Council hereby supports an extension of Draft Plan Approval for the MacKenzie Crossing Draft Plan of Subdivision to June 15, 2016, and further THAT:The owner and Regional Niagara Development Services Division be so advised. (

THAT: Council hereby approves the Heritage Permit Application, and further THAT:Council hereby authorizes the Manager-Land Use Policy to issue the Heritage Permit reflecting the approved works and said permit be provided to the Town's Chief Building Official. (

THAT:Council hereby authorizes the sale of 0 Oakes Drive, Lot 128, Plan 113/NP453 to the abutting property owners Petar, Jelica and Aleksandar Daskalovic for the highest tender amount of $5,117.99, plus h.s.t., subject to the lands legally merging in title with the purchaser's abutting property, and further THAT:A by-law be submitted to Council authorizing the acceptance of an agreement of purchase and sale. (

THAT:Council hereby grants a two month extension to finalize the Site Plan and enter into a Site Plan Agreement with Rosehill Auction. (

THAT:Council hereby accepts the $50,000 Regional Water Smart Grant to be apportioned $35,000 to capital project BVRC09, Beaver Creek to substitute $17,500 in Storm Reserve and $17,500 from benefitting landowners and $15,000 to MILR11, Miller Creek Municipal Drain, to substitute $7,500 Storm Reserve and $7,500 from benefitting landowners, and further THAT:Council hereby authorizes the funding partnership with the City of Port Colborne for $25,000 of their $50,000 Regional Water Smart Grant for capital project PABD12, Point Abino Municipal Drain to substitute $12,500 from Storm Reserve and $12,500 from benefitting landowners, and further THAT:Council hereby accepts the $55,000 Environment Canada - Great Lakes Sustainability Grant to be apportioned $27,500 to capital project BVRC09, Beaver Creek to substitute $13,750 in Storm Reserve and $13,750 from benefitting landowners and $27,500 to MILR11, Miller Creek Municipal Drain, to substitute $13,750 from Storm Reserve and $13,750 from Benefitting Landowners, and further THAT:A by-law be submitted to Council authorizing the entry into an agreement with Environment Canada for the Great Lakes Sustainability Grant. (

THAT:Council hereby authorizes the Town of Fort Erie staff to send a letter to the Minister of Agriculture requesting a portion of the Mann Municipal Drain be designated as an emergency site, in accordance with Section 124 of the Ontario Drainage Act in order to expedite works to alleviate local flooding. (
