6. Presentations 7. Reports 7.1 Council Report On behalf of Councillor Dubanow, K. Smith provided an update from Council, stating that Councillor Noyes presented a motion requesting that Council adopt a policy to reimburse property owners for the non-refundable appeal fee paid to the Ontario Land Tribunal. This reimbursement would apply in cases where the OLT determines the municipality's heritage designation decision was unjustified or in error. The reimbursement would be funded by the Heritage Reserve, provided proof of the appeal fee payment to the OLT is submitted. The motion was approved. M. McLelland-Papp revisited the issue of the museum display case in the foyer, as it was not visible. Councillor Dubanow asked for an email outlining the Committee's objections, which was sent. The suggestion was made to relocate it to a higher-traffic area, and it’s great to see it has now been moved to a more visible spot. This is a significant improvement, and people will definitely notice the effort the Museum has put into this. 8. Correspondence 8.1 Provincial Planning Statement 2024 M. McLelland-Papp
