Closed Regular Council in Committee

THAT: Council does now go into closed session to discuss the following: (a) Property Matters (i) Vesting of 2582 Stevensville Road (Report No. F-34-2001) (ii) Proposed Road Closing and Conveyance – Parts of Walnut Street and Goderich Street - Peace Bridge Authority (Report No. CAO-16-2-2001/LC-03-2-2001) (iii) Land Committee Minutes – August 1st, 2001 (Report No. CAO-21-2001) (iv) Waterfront Acquisitions – (Report No. CAO-22-2001) (

THAT: Council does now rise with the following reports: (i) That the Director of Finance proceed with vesting of the property at 2582 Stevensville Road in the Town of Fort Erie’s name as required by the Municipal Tax Sales Act, and further That once vested, the property be declared surplus and listed for sale. (ii) That Council receive Administrative Report No. CAO-16-2- 2001 for information purposes acknowledging that a Special Meeting of Council will be convened on August 13, 2001 to consider the passage of By-law No. 134-2001. (iii) That Council hereby approves the Land Committee minutes of August 1, 2001. (iv) That staff be directed to act in accordance with the instructions given by Council regarding the Waterfront Acquisitions under Administrative Report No. CAO-22-2001. (
