Regular Council in Committee

That: Council receives Report No. PDS-32-2017 regarding development, building and by-law statistical reporting for information purposes, and further That: Council directs staff to forward a copy of Report No. PDS- 32-2017 to the Regional Planning and Development Services Department, the Fort Erie Economic Development and Tourism Corporation, District School Board of Niagara and Niagara District Catholic School Board. (

That: Council receives Report No. PDS-33-2017 regarding proposed amendments to the Town’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 129-90 for 3823 Terrace Lane for information purposes only. (

That: Recommendation No. 3 be amended by adding “That: staff be directed to notify the Region of Niagara and the Developer of the need for safety improvements including possible roundabouts for the intersections of Thompson Road and Phipps Street and Thompson Road and Bowen Road for this development to proceed.” (

That: Council appoints Councillor Passero and Mayor Redekop as Council Representatives to participate on the Working Group for the 2017 Parks and Open Space Master Plan. (

That: Council directs staff to provide density percentage information on new builds in the quarterly reports going forward. (

That: The Memorandum regarding Report No. CAO-14- 2016: Newspapers in Driveways be received for information. (

That: Council approves the acceleration of the construction of the works to Waverly Beach from 2018 to 2017 and that staff provide information on when and how that will happen. (

That: Council-in-Committee does now go into closed session at 8:57 p.m to discuss the following: Re: Pursuant to Section 239 (2) (c) of the Municipal Act, 2001 - A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board (

That: Council-in-Committee does now rise and reconvene from closed session at 9:48 p.m. with report that staff proceed as directed. (

That: Council-in-Committee adjourns at 9:49 p.m. (
