THAT:A by-law be submitted to Council approving changes to user fees and indexing attached as Appendix "A" to "F", and further THAT:The Treasurer be authorized to annually index the user fees as prescribed, and further THAT:Staff be directed to prepare an annual consolidated fee schedule for staff use. (

THAT:The grant allocation for the 1812 Celebration in the amount of $83,000 be amended to $20,000 for 2009. (

COUNCIL-IN-BUDGET COMMITTEE MINUTES #5 WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2009 PAGE FOUR THAT:The grant allocation for the 1812 Celebration in the amount of $20,000 for 2009 be approved. (

THAT:The grant allocation for the Santa Claus Parade in the amount of $10,000 for 2009 be removed from the 2009 Operating Budget. (

THAT:The grant allocation for the BIA Watering in the amount of $22,000 for 2009 be approved. (

THAT:The allocation for the Communities in Bloom National Competition in the amount of $15,000 for 2009 be removed from the 2009 Operating Budget and that the Operations Division current base budget dollars for these services - Communities in Bloom National Competition - in the amount of $15,000 for 2009 be reallocated to the said base budget, recognizing existing service levels to ditching, asphalt patching, roadside and park maintenance will be reduced. (

THAT:Council hereby approves an allocation of $15,000 for the Mayor's Hospital Task Force which shall be absorbed in the 2009 gaming allocation to Community Health and Wellness in the amount of $263,000. (

THAT:Option 2 of Appendix “C” to Report No. CBC-08-09 for allocation of gaming revenues in the amount of $1,508,000 be approved. (

THAT:As a result of the amendments, the 2009 Operating Budget representing a general levy of $16,488,627 as set out in Appendix “D” to Report No. CBC-08-09 be approved and that a by-law be submitted to the Council Meeting of March 9, 2009 to adopt the 2009 Operating Budget. (

THAT:Council hereby receives Report No. CAO-04-09 for consideration during the 2009 operating budget deliberations. (

THAT: The Council-in-Budget Committee Meeting #5 hereby adjourns at 7:49 p.m. (
