McLeod That: The February 24, 2026 Minutes of the Fort Erie Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting be approved as printed. (Carried) 6. Site Plan Review 6.1 1321 Garrison Road AAC members reviewed the site plan for 1321 Garrison Road, consisting of commercial on the main floor and future residential on the second floor. The existing building will be levelled. There are two accessible parking spaces shown on the Plan. Members questioned if there would be automatic doors for the commercial business and Caleb advised that every public entrance for a new commercial development requires automatic doors. 6.2 363 Garrison Road AAC members reviewed the site plan for 363 Garrison Road, which included 8 separate buildings. It was noted that there are no pedestrian walkways shown on the plan, there are accessible spaces for the apartment building. With respect to the commercial food build, members suggested the accessible spaces be moved closer to the building. There were issues discussed related to the entry off of Burwell. AAC members asked to revisit any future plans that provide more detail (i.e. elevators and accessible units in multi-residential/apartment builds, etc.). 6.3 366 Ridge Road North AAC members reviewed the site plan for 366 Ridge Road North. Caleb noted that the heritage façade of the church will be retained. Planning staff will review parking requirements as it relates to the residential portions and it was questioned if 15% of the units would be accessible. Caleb
