THAT: The service contract be awarded to the Canadian Red Cross for a two year period, with an option for a two year renewal at the end of the second year, as per the Proposal (Appendix "A") for the provision of the new Fort Erie Accessible Specialized Transit (F.A.S.T.) Service, and further THAT: Staff be authorized to prepare the necessary by-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute the Specialized Transit Service contract on behalf of the Town of Fort Erie. (

THAT: Contract No. FM-01-07: New 2006 or 2007 Full-Size Extended Van be awarded to David Chevrolet Corvette Ltd. of Welland, Ontario, in the amount of $56,559.14 (including taxes), and further THAT: Council direct staff to prepare the necessary by-law approving the purchase of the New Extended Van for the provision of accessible paratransit service within the Town of Fort Erie (

THAT: Council award the tender for the Michener Road Culvert Rehabilitation, Structure M100C - Contract No. IS.06MRCR, at the tendered amount of $39,114.00, including g.s.t., to Hard Rock Construction Inc., of Port Colborne, Ontario, and further THAT: Staff be authorized to prepare the by-law authorizing the Mayor and Page 3 of 6 COUNCIL-IN-COMMITTEE MINUTES - MONDAY, APRIL 16, 2007 Clerk to execute the contract on behalf of the Town of Fort Erie. (

THAT: Council approve the tender submitted by Sheprott K9 Security Services Inc. for Security Services and Parking Enforcement for Bay Beach - Tender Contract Number ISF-01-2007, for the hourly rates per year as indicated in teh comparison Table 1 of this report (excluding g.s.t.), and further THAT: Staff be directed to prepare the necessary by-law authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute the contract with Sheprott K9 Security Services on behalf of the Town of Fort Erie. (

THAT: The Town of Fort Erie provide land, as required, for the Greater Fort Erie Community Health Centre on the Crystal Ridge Community Centre Property, and further THAT: The Ministry of Health, the Greater Fort Erie Health Services Corporation, the Region of Niagara and the City of Port Colborne be advised. (

THAT: Staff be and they are hereby authorized to proceed to invite quotations for the supply and installation of new sand filters at the Kinsmen Pool, and further THAT: The awarding of the quotation is hereby delegated to the Director of Infrastructure Services pursuant to Sections 23.1 to 23.5 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended provided the cost of same does not exceed the 2007 budget allocation of $43,000, and further THAT: Due to time constraints Purchasing and Tendering Policy By-law No. 29- 2002 be and it is hereby waived specifically related to advertisement in local newspapers and the award of contract by by-law, for the supply and installation of the new sand filters at the Kinsmen Pool. (

THAT: Council hereby approves the March 26, 2007 Land Committee meeting minutes attached as Appendix "1" to Report No. CAO-06/LC-07-07, and further THAT: Council hereby approves the recommended tasks as outlined in Appendix "2" to Report No. CAO-06/LC-07-07. (

THAT: Council-in-Committee does now hereby adjourn at 6:43 p.m. (
