THAT:Council hereby authorizes the entry into an Amending Agreement to amend Schedule "C" to the existing Operating Agreement with the Canadian Red Cross Society for the provision of specialized transit services, to reflect the new vehicle to be leased to the Society, and further COUNCIL-IN-COMMITTEE MINUTES – MONDAY, MARCH 28, 2011 PAGE SIX THAT:Council hereby authorizes the entry into an Amending Agreement to amend Appendix "1" to the existing Vehicle Lease Agreement with the Canadian Red Cross Society to reflect the new vehicle to be leased to the Society for the provision of specialized transit services. (

THAT:Council hereby awards Contract No. ISO-02-2011 - Street Sweeping Services, Two Year Contract 2011-2012 to A&G The Road Cleaners Ltd. for a total upset limit of $49,760.64, inclusive of non-rebated h.s.t. (

THAT:Council hereby enters into an Agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to receive funding in the amount of $150,000.00 to assist with the environmental cost associated with the Beaver Creek Municipal Drain maintenance project, and further THAT:Council pass the required by-law as stipulated in the Agreement. (

THAT:Council does now go into closed session at 7:15 p.m. to receive an update on the sale of the Lightkeeper’s Dwelling. (

THAT:Council does now hereby rise and reconvene into open session at 7:47 p.m. with no report. (

THAT:The 2011 Capital Budget be amended to include $1,476,598 for PALH10, Point Abino Lighthouse restoration with $1,045,000 from the Facilities Maintenance Reserve, $425,000 from the Parks Canada Grant and $6,598 from the Lighthouse Reserve, and further THAT:Council authorize the net proceeds from the sale of the Lightkeeper's Dwelling be directed to the Facilities Maintenance Reserve, and further THAT:Council authorizes staff to proceed with the tender call for the restoration works and that the exact amount of any potential project funding shortfall be addressed at that time. (

THAT:Council hereby receives Report No. CS-11-11 regarding the Statement of Remuneration and Expenses for Mayor, Council and persons appointed by Council for information purposes only. (

THAT:Council recess from this portion of the Council-in-Committee Meeting at 9:05 p.m. and shall convene into the Regular Council Meeting and return to Council-in-Committee Meeting before the closed session. (

THAT:Council hereby receives Report No. CS-12-11 for information. (

THAT:Staff provide Councillor Lubberts with the square footage for each piece of property that will be transferred or reconveyed to the Town for the three separate parcels and the open space. (
