Regular Council in Committee

That: Council approves the Consent Agenda Items as recommended. (

That: Council receives for information purposes Report No. PDS-02-2022 regarding a proposed Draft Plan of Vacant Land Condominium and Zoning By-law Amendment for 3819 Hibbard Street and the easterly portion of 294 Gorham Road. (

That: Council receives for information purposes Report No. PDS-03-2022 regarding proposed housekeeping amendments to the Town’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law No.129-90. (

That: Council approves the amendment to the Town's Zoning By-law No. 129-90 as detailed in Appendix "3" of Report No. PDS-04-2022 for the lands known as 323 Central Avenue, and further That: Council directs staff to prepare the necessary by-law. (

That: Council directs that 271 Ridgeway Road (former Fire Station 6) not be designated pursuant to the Ontario Heritage Act, based on the Heritage Property Survey and Evaluation performed by the Municipal Heritage Standing Committee members, and further That: Council directs staff to inform the applicant of Council’s decision. (

That: The following recommendation be added: “That: With respect to Item 6 of “Outstanding Land Matters” being “Request to purchase Town-owned Lands – 390 Derby Road (Smith)”, Council directs staff to consult Phil Smith regarding the sale of 390 Derby Road to him at fair market value, as opposed to going to the open market, and report back to Council at the February 28, 2022 Council meeting.” (

That: The 2nd Recommendation in Recommendation No. 4 in Appendix “2” be postponed until staff has had an opportunity to have discussions with the Museum & Cultural Heritage Committee. (

That: Council-in-Committee adjourns at 9:53 p.m. (
